JPMorgan Chase sued former executive Jes Staley over his ties to financier Jeffrey Epstein.
JPMorgan is seeking to hold Staley liable after the bank was sued by an unidentified woman who says she was a victim of Epstein’s sex trafficking. Her lawsuit alleges the bank did nothing to stop the operation.
In its lawsuit, JPMorgan is seeking reimbursement for damages if the lawsuit’s allegations that Staley knew of Epstein’s trafficking are proved true and he concealed it from the bank.
