JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon says the company will raise wages for 18,000 employees.
The base pay for those employees, now $10.15 an hour, will increase to $12-$16.50 an hour over the next three years, depending on geographic and market factors. The employees include bank tellers and customer service representatives.
The company also will step up in-house training and funding of national programs to bolster career-oriented education.
A food truck that launched last year rebranded and moved to Metro Eats; automotive repair business Mitchem Tire Co. expanded its Christian County presence; and O’Reilly Build LLC was acquired.
