JPMorgan Chase & Co. is promoting two CEO contenders to lead the company's consumer-banking operation.
Marianne Lake, the company's consumer lending leader, and Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Piepszak are taking over the consumer and community bank from Gordon Smith, who's slated to retire at year's end.
Both Lake and Piepszak are seen as front-runners to succeed CEO Jamie Dimon.
