Josh D'Amaro officially became Disney's CEO on Wednesday.
D'Amaro succeeded Bob Iger at Disney's annual shareholder meeting.
In a letter to employees Wednesday, D'Amaro said he is driven as CEO by Disney's "great storytellers, innovators, leaders and people around the world who care so deeply about what they do."
