Jordan Valley Community Health Center has named the first executive director of its newly created foundation.
Kristy Carter started yesterday as executive director of the nonprofit Jordan Valley Family Health Foundation, according to a news release. Carter recently exited her role as executive director of Ozark-based food pantry Least of These Inc.
"Her proven leadership, passion for community service and experience in nonprofit management make her the ideal person to lead the foundation as we continue to grow and serve our community," said Dr. Matthew Stinson, CEO of Jordan Valley Community Health Center, in the release.
Kristy Taylor, marketing strategist for Jordan Valley, said via email that Carter is currently the lone employee at the Jordan Valley Family Health Foundation, which "is just getting started."
The foundation is designed to work alongside Jordan Valley Community Health Center and provide charitable opportunities to improve health and well-being in the community, according to the release.
