Snyder Construction Group is the general contractor for the Jordan Valley Maintenance Center, which will serve as a garage and office facility for the Springfield-Greene County Park Board. The 9,500-square-foot building will have two levels, with the lower level housing garages for maintenance vehicles. Snyder Construction Group Project Manager Jennifer Baker said foundations and retaining walls are done, and placement of precast concrete panels began in July. Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc. is the architect and structural engineer for the nearly $1.07 million project. Other engineers are Anderson Engineering Inc., civil; and Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Baker said the center is designed to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-Silver standards, and regional and recycled materials are being used for the project. The project is scheduled for completion by Nov. 2.
