A nearly $105,000 fee that will be charged in order for the Joplin Redevelopment Corp. to obtain $4.2 million in state tax credits came as a surprise to the JRC and to those who advise it, according to the Joplin Globe.
Officials noted they were unaware such a fee would be assessed. The tax credit amount also is less than expected.
