The Joplin school district's board of education on Tuesday approved a voluntary vaccine incentive program.
Each fully vaccinated school district employee and substitute can receive $25. Additionally, the district will have four $2,500 prizes.
The total cost to the district would be $43,750 if all of its employees and substitutes participate.
