The Joplin Schools Board of Education this week approved roughly $3.5 million in capital projects.
The projects, which are earmarked for the school district's fiscal 2022 that starts July 1, were narrowed down from a pool of up to 300 requests.
Approved projects include asbestos removal, roof replacement and repairs.
