Panels from the "I Am Joplin" mural are slated to be auctioned to raise money to display future art projects.
The mural, which has fallen into disrepair, was organized, produced and installed by Art Feeds in 2013. It has black and white images of Joplin residents holding a small chalkboard that displays an inspirational “I am” message. For example, messages include, "I am blessed" and "I am a future president."
The mural is located on the northwest corner of Sixth and Main streets.
