The Joplin School District is moving to expand its Wi-Fi networks into the parking lots of its buildings.
Officials cited a need for all students to continue having access to the internet if the coronavirus pandemic forces the district to rely on remote learning.
The project launched at Joplin High School, where a split schedule already is in place.
