Joplin CVB plans tourism study

The Joplin Convention and Visitors Bureau is planning a study to assess the area's regional tourism impact.

Director Patrick Tuttle is slated to ask Joplin City Council for authorization to commission the study at the body's meeting tonight.

The CVB intends to enter a $111,608 contract with Conventions, Sports & Leisure International LLC.
