Johnson & Johnson to stop selling talc baby powder in US

Johnson & Johnson is putting an end to sales of its talc baby power in the United States and Canada.

Company officials said demand has fallen amid “misinformation” about the product's safety.

The baby powder has been at the center of more than 19,000 lawsuits alleging the talc products caused cancer due to contamination with asbestos.
