Johnson & Johnson takes $13.3B tax charge

Johnson & Johnson's bottom line was damaged in the fourth quarter due to a $13.3 billion tax provision charge.

The company reported a net loss of $10.7 billion, compared with a profit of $3.8 billion a year earlier.

Officials cited federal tax changes for the charge it incurred.
