Johnson & Johnson agreed to pay $700 million to settle a multistate case involving its baby powder products.
The case alleged Johnson & Johnson misled consumers by claiming its talc-based baby powder products were safe to use. Lawsuits have alleged talc powder may be linked to health issues such as cancer.
Johnson & Johnson is not admitting wrongdoing in the settlement.
