Johnson & Johnson is proposing nearly $9 billion to settle lawsuits alleging its baby power containing talc caused cancer.
The company has more than quadrupled the amount it previously set aside.
The $8.9 billion would transfer to J&J subsidiary LTL Management and be payable over the next 25 years.
