Johnson & Johnson announced today it started Phase III trial testing on a potential COVID-19 vaccine.
The company becomes the fourth backed by the Trump administration's Operation Warp Speed vaccine program to reach late-stage testing. Moderna, Pfizer and AstraZeneca are the other companies.
J&J plans to enroll up to 60,000 adult volunteers for the trial.
