Joe's Kansas City has a message for Jimmy Kimmel

It’s official – the Z-man is no longer a Kansas City secret.

The popular sandwich at Joe’s Kansas City – formally Oklahoma Joe’s – got a shoutout from late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel Monday night. While announcing his show would air at a new earlier time slot, he said he would celebrate with a Z-man.

On Tuesday afternoon, Joe’s Kansas City took to Twitter in response. While the restaurant is more than happy to make a sandwich for the host, they had one request – it has to be done in person.

The tweet from @joesKC reads: @jimmykimmel We'd love to send you a Z-Man. But we'd need to come out and fry the onion rings and toast the kaiser roll ourselves. #fresh

The brisket sandwich includes melty smoked provolone cheese and is topped with a fresh fried onion ring, on a toasted Kaiser roll.
