Joe Walsh, a conservative radio show host and former Illinois congressman, is expected to challenge President Donald Trump in the primaries next year.
Walsh called the president an “unfit divider in chief," claiming Republicans want an alternative. Republican polls, however, continue to favor Trump.
Walsh said he believes he can win financial support "all over the spectrum."
“I think if there is an alternative out there,” Walsh said, “the money will follow.”
