The Missouri Job Center and Ozark Region Workforce Development Board this week are helping with 11 hiring events, the most at one time on record.
The companies involved are seeking combined hires of over 300 positions, said Megan Short, city of Springfield communications coordinator.
Denver-based TeleTech Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: TTEC), which also
held an event last week, is seeking the most employees, at up to 160 for its Springfield call center. This week’s hiring event is scheduled tomorrow.
The other events scheduled, by amount of jobs, are:
• Human Resource Staffing, 38, on July 21;
• Pilot Flying J, 25, on July 20;
• Bass Pro Shops, 24, today;
• Hy-Vee, 20, on July 20-21;
• Vacation ownership company Festiva, 10-15, on July 20;
• Digital Monitoring Products, 14, on July 21;
• Bass Pro’s White River Fish House, eight, on July 20;
• VF Outlet, four, on July 19; and
• Mercy, undisclosed number, on July 19.
