JMark Business Solutions Inc. President and CEO Thomas Douglas has been listed on Nine Lives Media Inc.'s fifth annual
MSPmentor 250, which identifies top managed services provider experts, executives, entrepreneurs and community leaders.
"I am sure (others on the list) would join me in saying we did not get here alone. The entire JMark team has helped strengthen the managed services community, and its achievements this year are well worth mentioning," Douglas said in a news release.
The list, which is based on a May-July survey, recognizes professionals who have contributed to the managed services provider market via technology, sales, marketing and business development knowledge.
"If you're seeking to launch or build a managed services business practice, the MSPmentor 250 is the ultimate Rolodex to get you started," Nine Lives Media CEO Amy Katz said in the release. Nine Lives Media, a division of Penton Media, runs managed services provider media platforms.
The list pointed to Douglas' role in the firm growing annual revenues by 25 percent to 35 percent during the past five years and maintaining 99 percent client retention. JMark was founded in 1988 and provides IT management for small- and medium-sized organizations. The company ranked No. 4,153 on the
2012 Inc. 5000, based on revenue growth of 31 percent, with 2011 revenues of $6.4 million and 2008 revenues of $4.8 million.
In August, JMark announced plans to expand its Chestnut Expressway and National Avenue headquarters and create 42 jobs in three years with a capital investment of $564,000, according to
