Springfield information technology firm JMark Business Solutions Inc. has enacted plans to expand its headquarters and create 42 jobs in three years with a capital investment of $564,000.

JMark President and CEO Tom Douglas was joined yesterday by Gov. Jay Nixon for a news conference at the company's Chestnut Expressway and National Avenue headquarters.

The 42 new employees would nearly double the company's workforce to 95.

“I am pleased that another high-tech, home-grown Missouri company like JMark Business Solutions has become the latest company to make a significant capital investment while planning to create new jobs in the Show-Me State,” Nixon said in a news release.

JMark could be eligible for state tax incentives if it meets job creation and investment criteria, the release said.

JMark, which was founded in 1988, provides IT management for small- and medium-sized organizations. The company ranked No. 4,153 on the 2012 Inc. 5000, based on revenue growth of 31 percent, with 2011 revenues of $6.4 million and 2008 revenues of $4.8 million.
