In celebration of its 25th anniversary in business and 15 years on the NASDAQ Stock Market, Monett-based Jack Henry & Associates Inc. was selected to open the market Nov. 8.

Jack Henry & Associates provides integrated computer systems and ATM and debit card transactions for banks and credit unions. The company has 2,800 customers nationwide.
The event was covered by national media including CNBC, Yahoo! and CNN-FN. The NASDAQ invites honorary companies and special guests to open its stock market daily. Also opening the market that week were Cisco Systems Inc., Scholastic Inc. and Tony Bennett.
