Jimmy Carter enters hospital for brain surgery

Former President Jimmy Carter was admitted to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta on Monday.

This morning, the 95-year-old is scheduled to undergo surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.

The pressure is caused by bleeding related to recent falls. He reportedly has fallen at least three times this year, most recently fracturing his pelvis on Oct. 21.
