Jennifer serves  Springfield Business Journal in her capacity as publisher. She officially joined the staff in Springfield in January 2007 after years of watching her mother build the business. "I consider myself a front-line problem solver/slack taker. It is my job to help remove any obstacles and assist where I'm needed so that our talented staff can continue to make great things happen," Jackson said.

Jennifer holds a doctoral degree in Higher Education with specialization in administration and leadership. Prior to coming to SBJ Publishing, Jennifer spent 10 years at Ozarks Technical Community College as a teacher and administrator.

When asked to describe what she likes most about her job, Jennifer's response was: "No two days are ever alike. Each day holds new challenges and an opportunity to learn or to think of something in a completely different way." She added, "Having this opportunity to work with my mother, whom I admire and respect, is a tremendous gift."
