Jeff and MacKenzie Bezos finalized their divorce, they announced yesterday.
Three months after announcing the news, the duo said they “finished the process of dissolving” their marriage.
MacKenzie Bezos said she gave 75 percent of the couple’s stock in Amazon to her former husband, the CEO of the e-commerce giant. Her remaining stake is estimated to be worth $35.7 billion.
She also relinquished control of her Amazon shares “to support his continued contributions with the team of these incredible companies.”
Jeff Bezos said his ex-wife is an "extraordinary partner, ally and mother."
"I'm grateful for her support and for her kindness in this process and am very much looking forward to our new relationship as friends and co-parents," he said.
