JCPenney yesterday announced it will discontinue major appliance sales by month's end.
Officials said the decision was made to “better meet customer expectations, improve financial performance and drive profitable growth.”
Additionally, the company is scrapping furniture, except for online and in select Puerto Rico stores. Mattresses will still be available.
