JCPenney reveals store closure list

JCPenney on Friday released a list of 138 upcoming store closures as part of a previously announced plan to focus on its e-commerce platforms.

The only Missouri store on the list is located in Maryville in the northwest corner of the state.

The cuts affect 41 states, with the worst hit being Texas, at nine stores.
