J.C. Penney improves 2Q financials

J.C. Penney Co Inc. reported improved second-quarter financials.

According to Reuters, revenue rose 2.7 percent to $2.88 billion from $2.8 billion.

While the company had a net loss of $138 million, it was below last year's net loss of $172 million.
