Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft is predicting 70% of registered voters will turn up to the polls on Election Day.
That would be up from about 67% during the 2016 general election.
“I’m hoping, fingers crossed, that because of the changes in the law and because of all the information we’ve put out there, we will see a resounding increase in voter turnout," Ashcroft said. "But, I’ve been disappointed before when I’ve thought that."
