Japan opens door to potential $30B industry

Japan may be getting into the casino business.

The Japanese parliament is expected to pass a new law Wednesday that would pave the way for a gaming industry that could generate more than $30 billion a year, according to analysts.

Casinos currently are illegal in the country.
