Jamie Dimon's heir apparent at JPMorgan is leaving

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon's heir apparent is leaving the company.

Dimon confirmed Matt Zames, a 13-year employee of the firm and its current chief operating officer, is existing the firm but didn't say why.

"While I am sad to see him leave, I respect his decision and all he has done for JPMorgan Chase," Dimon wrote in the memo.
