James Comey, former director of the FBI, has been indicted for allegedly lying to Congress.
The federal lawsuit is reportedly related to Comey's involvement with the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
According to The Associated Press, the indictment comes days after President Donald Trump appeared to urge Attorney General Pam Bondi to prosecute Comey.
