Once this 9,000-square-foot structure is completed, Jamerson Millworks Inc. will move here from its present location at 929 N. Sherman.
According to owner Lamarr P. Jamerson, the new structure, which includes 800 square feet of office space, will nearly double the size of the existing building, which is 5,200 square feet with 500 square feet of office space.
Larry Snyder & Company is the general contractor for the project, and John Oke-Thomas is the architect.
Jamerson Millworks manufactures architecturally designed, custom stile-and-rail wood doors for residential and commercial customers.
The doors are made from a variety of woods, including mahogany, cherry, alder, oak and poplar. The company has nine employees.
