Jamaica is facing a marijuana shortage that experts say is the worst they've seen.
Jamaica, known to foreigners, in part, for marijuana, reggae and Rastafarians, has faced heavy rains followed by an extended drought. Additionally, there has been an increase in local consumption of cannabis and a drop in the number of cultivators.
The country in 2015 authorized a regulated medical marijuana industry and decriminalized small amounts of cannabis.
