Jackson County legislators voted Monday on the ballot language for a Kansas City Royals and Chiefs stadium tax.
Voters in the county are slated to decide in April whether to continue paying a sales tax for another 40 years.
Funds would be used for the construction of a new downtown ballpark for the Royals and renovations at the Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium.
