Monett-based banking software and technology firm Jack Henry & Associates Inc. (Nasdaq: JKHY) appears to be an attractive stock buy following its report of growing revenue and profits last week. This morning, PropertyMentorGroup.com, listed JKHY among its top five stocks to watch.
According to WallStreetPulse.org, Jack Henry stock climbed nearly 4 percent in the past week on the heels of the company’s most recent quarterly report when it posted a 6 percent increase in total revenue, a 4 percent jump in gross profits. Its net income also jumped 7.5 percent to $59 million in the second quarter of its fiscal 2015 year, up from $54.9 million a year earlier.
The stock hit a recent low of $61.37 on Jan. 30 before landing at $63.58 on Feb. 6. As of 10:45 a.m., the stock was selling at $63.51 per share.
Jack Henry shares have outperformed the Standard & Poor’s 500 in the past week by 0.55 percent and by 1.14 percent for the past four weeks, according to WallStreetPulse.
The stock’s 52-week range is $51.86 to $65.07, according to Finance.Yahoo.com.
