Jack Henry signs deal with Arizona credit union

Jack Henry & Associates Inc. (Nasdaq: JKHY) has penned a deal to provide core processing services to an Arizona credit union with $508 million in assets.

The Monett-based technology company's Symitar division will service Credit Union West with its Episys platform, according to a news release.

"We identified very specific requirements for our new technology partner and platform," Credit Union West Vice President of Technology Scott Grundy said in the release. "Our goal was to partner with a company that has a clear, focused business strategy; a demonstrable commitment to the core system we would be installing; a progressive technology roadmap; and a significant commitment to ongoing research and development."

Symitar provides systemwide automation services to more than 750 credit union clients. Jack Henry claims some 11,300 customers nationwide.

JKHY shares were trading at $54.53 as of 10:37 a.m., compared to a 52-week range of $37.90 to $60.34.
