Jack Henry shares hit 52-week high

Shares of Jack Henry & Associates Inc. (Nasdaq: JKHY) hit a 52-week high yesterday.

The Monett-based banking software firm’s stock on Tuesday traded as high as $64.40 before closing at $63.51.

As of 8:53 a.m., shares were trading at $63.01, compared to a 52-week low of $51.86.

The company’s stock price ended last week at $62.54 at the close of business Jan. 9, opened at $62.68 on Monday morning and closed that day at $63.

In its most recent earnings report, released in November, Jack Henry reported fiscal 2015 first-quarter earnings of $52.8 million, representing a 6 percent year-to-year bump. Revenue also moved up 8 percent to $318.8 million.

Jack Henry constructs integrated computer systems and processes ATM and debit card transactions for banks and credit unions, with some 11,300 customers nationwide. As of Sept. 30, the company's assets were $1.6 billion.
