The financial-technology provider reported quarterly revenue of $150.6 million, compared to $137 million the same quarter a year ago.
Net income was $21.4 million, or 23 cents per share, representing a 10 percent increase from $19.4 million, or 21 cents per share, a year ago.
Gross profit saw improvement as well, increasing 12 percent to $63.3 million from $56.6 million in first-quarter fiscal 2006.
Shares of Jack Henry (Nasdaq: JKHY) closed Monday at $22.70, compared to a 52-week range of $17.40 to $23.77. Shares were trading down at $21.94 as of 9:30 this morning.
