Jack Henry |amp| Associates to expand, add 80 jobs

Jack Henry & Associates Inc., an integrated computer systems and services provider for the banking industry, announced in December its plan to make a multimillion dollar investment and create 80 new full-time, high-wage jobs in the expansion of its corporate headquarters in Monett.|ret||ret||tab|

The Missouri Department of Economic Development approved a $650,000 industrial infrastructure grant to the city of Monett for road improvements necessary for the expansion. |ret||ret||tab|

"The improvements made possible by this state grant will not only improve traffic conditions here, but it also will result in significant economic benefits for the city of Monett and the surrounding region," said DED Director Joseph L. Driskill, in a press release.|ret||ret||tab|

Jack Henry & Associates provides data processing solutions, sells both hardware and software and provides installation, conversion, software customization, training, customer support and other related services. |ret||ret||tab|

The company has five office buildings and more than 400 employees.|ret||ret||tab|

The industrial infrastructure grant will be used to fund street improvements and accessories at the intersection of Eisenhower Street and U.S. Highway 60, according to the DED release. |ret||ret||tab|

The city of Monett has committed a significant amount toward infrastructure improvements associated with this expansion and has received funds from the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act program for improvements to the bridge over Clear Creek. |ret||ret||tab|
