Jack Dorsey to donate $1B to fund COVID-19 relief

Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter and digital payments platform Square, is donating $1 billion to COVID-19 relief efforts.

The funding comes in the form of equity in Square. It's going toward his Start Small LLC fund.

The donation is the most significant philanthropic effort from the 43-year-old tech executive in his career.
