IWS wraps up insurance software pilot program

Posted online
A Springfield-based Web software company is launching a new policy administration system for property and casualty insurance carriers.

Intuitive Web Solutions launched BriteCore this week with Phase I of implementation, according to an IWS news release. BriteCore is a Web-based processing system for companies to track and organize their property and casualty insurance policies. The program also can integrate with software from third-party vendors, allowing data transfer from one system to another, the release said.

After a 14-month development process, Panhandle Farmers Mutual Insurance Co. in West Virginia led the pilot process for the new program and will be writing new business with BriteCore at the end of this week. Six client companies signed on for the initial launch of the new software, the release said.

"Our entire office is excited at the launch of BriteCore," said Art Meadows, president and CEO of Panhandle Farmers Mutual, in the release. "Barely a year in development, we continue to be impressed with the quality and capability of the product and its developers. Our expectations and wish list have been vastly exceeded.”

IWS' development of BriteCore follows up on its 2005 creation of BriteQuote, a quoting and application system designed for property and casualty insurance companies.
Phil and Chris Reynolds founded Intuitive Web Solutions, 509 W. Olive, Ste. 101, in 2004.
