Ivanka Trump sales boom

Turns out, controversy may be good for business.

Slice Intelligence reports U.S. sales of a Trump products on Amazon rose 332 percent in January and February compared with the same two months in 2016. Sales at Macy's were up 148 percent and up 29.5 percent at Bloomingdale's.

The sales spree follows Nordstrom dropping the line from its stores, leading President Donald Trump to attack the company on Twitter. After more companies dropped the brand, Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway violated ethics guidelines by plugging the brand on Fox News.
