Italy's biggest bank to slash 14,000 jobs

Italy's largest bank has plans to raise $13.8 billion and slash thousands of jobs to improve its finances.

UniCredit SpA intends to cut 14,000 jobs by 2019 - roughly 10 percent of its employees. 

The move is expected to save the company $1.2 billion.
