The IRS is delaying implementation of a payment reporting rule on payment platforms such as PayPal and Venmo.
Users of those platforms would be required to send tax forms called 1099-Ks if they received more than $600 in the current tax year.
It's the second consecutive year the IRS has delayed enacting the new regulation.
A provision in the 2021 American Rescue Plan included the rule change.
