Posted online
Reed Properties is the owner and the general contractor for Iron Bridge Retirement Community, which will comprise eight buildings and 50 condominium units designed for residents age 50 and older. Owner Bill Reed said Bill Derington is the architect for the project, which will have a total of 70,000 square feet. Wells & Scaletty LLC is the engineer. The estimated construction cost is $4 million, and the first units are to be completed by late August, Reed said. Each unit will be handicapped-accessible, and there are five floor plans to choose from, ranging from 650 square feet to 2,000 square feet. There also will be a clubhouse in the development, Reed said.
