St. John's Emergency

Trauma Center

This project, for St. John's Re-gional Health Center, is a new trauma center for minor emergencies that do not necessarily require emergency-room treatment. The new center comprises nine fast-track rooms and adjacent support spaces.

Stephanie Ireland, AIA, is the project architect, and DeWitt & Asso-ciates is the contractor for the facility, located at 1235 E. Cherokee. With an estimated cost of $500,000, the trauma center is slated for completion in March 2002.
