Iran reaches deal to buy Boeing passenger planes

Iranian media reported yesterday the country finalized a deal with Boeing to buy passenger planes.

The deal reportedly will be announced formally in the coming days.

If approved, the agreement would mark the first time new American aircraft would fly over Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
