Investors want to fire Zuckerberg as Facebook chairman

Independent investors voted overwhelmingly to oust Mark Zuckerberg as chairman of Facebook.

However, the proposals at the company's annual shareholder meeting last week failed since Zuckerberg holds voting control. Investors also sought to install an independent chairman.

Zuckerberg has about 60% of the voting power at Facebook.
